Steelshield has taken the safety of its workers and of the public seriously since the beginning. It has implemented policies which are in line with the
current requirements of the law and the pop code but also adhere to common sense. The full method statement of all Steelshield policies and practices
can be viewed or downloaded below.
All Steelshield employees are trained in their particular role in the company. All people driving any machinery are, of course licensed to do so after
attending the appropriate training. Steelshield also carries a comprehensive insurance cover in the event of an accident.
Sites with particularly high wind speeds are advised to discuss alternative methods of securing the fence. This can be either by using greater measures
to anchor (e.g. driving scaffold bars into the ground), fixing to a solid surface or even simply erecting the fence at 2.4 metres to provide less wind
resistance.
Due to the relative light weight of the product, Steelshield is possibly the safest temporary fencing solution on the market. In the unlikely event that
the fence were to fall on someone, serious permanent injury is unlikely.
